What are Malt’s reporting & analytics features?
Visibility on budgets and spend is key for you to make well informed decisions. With Malt’s advanced reporting features you always have a complete overview of your spend, freelance workforce and their compliance status.
The reporting & analytics tools are available for admins on the ‘Advanced’ and ‘Enterprise’ plans! Take a tour of the dashboards in this demo!
There are different tools across multiple tabs:
The ‘Analytics’ tab hosts a variety of dashboard and statistics across three categories: spend, projects and freelancers.
The ‘Invoices & payments’ tab lets you manage and download your invoices or add a PO
The ‘Ongoing projects’ tab shows you your current projects and their status
The ‘Legal documents’ tab gives you a 360 view of your freelancers verification status and documents

The ‘Analytics’ tab
On the Analytics tab you have access to various statistics and insights showing you what your spend across teams and organizations looks like and who your freelance workforce consists of. The dashboard is split up in 2 types of insights: spend and freelancers.
Spend
Spend per month per freelancer category - The total value of approved quotes by business vertical
Spend per job family - The total value of approved quotes by job family
Spend per job category - The value of approved quotes by job category
Top collaborators - Top 10 collaborators with the highest contracted spend during a specific period
Top companies - Top 10 companies with the highest contracted spend during a specific period
Paid & unpaid invoices
Number of projects per type - Task-based vs Time-based
Freelancers
Freelancer per job category
Freelancers per job Family
Numbers of ratings to freelancers
Average days worked by freelancers per job family
The ‘Invoicing & payments tab’
On the 'Invoices & payments' tab you get a complete overview of your invoices and can manage them easily. You have the following possibilities:
- See the payment status of each invoice
- Easily add Purchase orders right from the dashboard
- Download all invoices at once or just the ones you select
- Filter the view based on companies, project owners, time period, PO's and status
The ‘Legal documents’ tab
With the 'Legal documents' page you get a 360 view of your freelancers' compliance and other useful insights to help you prevent worker misclassification. On this page you’ll see:
The status of your freelancers legal documents verification
The total number of days you have worked with each freelancer
The total number of projects you have done with each freelancer
The freelancers’ vertical - Malt, Malt Strategy, Malt Open
The total spend per freelancers (ex. taxes)
The ability to download legal documents*

The ‘Ongoing projects’ tab
On the 'Ongoing projects' tab you can manage your current projects or look back on past projects. The screen provides a quick overview on the status of projects and pending actions. From this screen you can:
View and approve quotes or activity reports
Quickly see the status of your projects
See the total spend, start and end-date of projects
Filter on status, action, freelancers, project owners and a timeframe
